The cute chubby Elephant Teddy is another design suitable for using as a memory teddy, birth announcement teddy or simply a gift for a loved one.
 
The Elephant is 5 way jointed, sits around 30cm (12") and stands around 40cm (16") tall. 
 
The teddy has been designed to be made in a lovely soft cuddlesoft velboa (Minky) style fabric with plastic safety joints.  With the face having embroidered features, the teddy is safe for a little one.
 
You will need a 10" x 6" (260mm x 160mm) hoop.  The teddy takes 3 x 45mm and 2 x 55mm slim line safety joints  (Joint Set D)

The teddy is made all in the hoop, however you will need to attached the ears by ladder stitching and the foot pads either by hand or on a sewing machine.
